Photography has been a hobby of mine for years, but a passion blossomed five years ago after I had my first baby. I became intensely aware of how fleeting the first years with children are, and began snapping pictures as much as possible. As a new mama, I also became aware that it was easy to hide behind the camera. There were many feelings of insecurity (and sleep deprivation) that kept me out of the frame. When my daughter turned two, I pushed myself to do a photoshoot, just us. I deeply cherish these pictures as they represent a special time during my motherhood journey. I’m inspired to encourage women in my community to do the same - to feel confident, to embrace their natural beauty, and to capture the candid, unposed moments.

My photography style…

Candid photos are my jam. With minimal direction, I aim to encourage authentic, natural interactions that capture the real you. This might look like a sunset walk on the beach with your family or a hike through the forest with a few posed photos sprinkled in.

When I’m not photographing…

I’m married to my high school sweetheart and a mother to three kids under five. Together, along with our furry crew of pets, we love to travel, hike, craft, and do endless house projects on our fixer-upper.
